My sister-in-law refers to me as Fort Knox. Insinuating how private I am and how I never freely give information about me or my family. For that matter, I rarely give information when asked. The other ongoing family joke goes like this, "Sure, we'll pose for the picture, although we'll never see it." I walk around with an obnoxious Digital SLR, and me, share pictures, FORGET IT! I catalog my life mentally in sequential order, so the pictures I take are very special to me. When I see photos I've taken, I immediately remember and feel my exact thoughts and emotions at the time. So the fact that I started this blog and am actually going to publish this posting is AMAZING and far beyond my box! To give you a little background on how monumental this is for me, I have a Facebook account and have NEVER posted an entry, I don't post pictures of my kids, I have 49 friend requests waiting, I don't have my maiden name posted; I simply dread people peaking into my life!?!
Why the blog you might ask? I guess I say, "Why NOT!"
I am 37 years old, I've been married to my college sweetheart for nearly 17 years. He drives me batty but at the same time my heart still skips a beat when he calls or walks into a room. We have been blessed with 3 AMAZING children ( I AM a mom..lol) who I adore and live for. We've been in our home for over ten years and have made wonderful memories. Maybe it's time to stop being selfish and share the blessings we've experienced. As crazy as it makes me, I love my life and not a day goes by that I am not thankful!
